Every public donation goes directly to rent relief, medical expenses, travel assistance, and other urgent essentials — ensuring stability when crisis strikes.
But we don’t stop at emergency aid. We also provide financial literacy resources and education to help veterans build long-term resilience, equipping them with the tools to manage finances, reduce stress, and create lasting stability for their families.

What began at Bernie’s kitchen table—awarding the first $100 emergency grant to a fellow veteran in need—has grown into a fully volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to serving Tucson and the Southern Arizona veteran community.
Guided by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors, every public dollar you give today goes straight to veterans and families facing crisis here at home. From rent relief and medical bills to urgent travel assistance, our story is one of grit, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the heroes in our own backyard.
Honor Charity delivers a suite of no-questions-asked financial assistance initiatives—each designed as a strategic investment in the future of Tucson and Southern Arizona veterans:
Emergency Housing Relief
Rapid rental support to prevent evictions and keep families safely under one roof.
